  • This 2-piece lot has each piece marked W.M.F. for Rear Admiral
    William Mayhew Folger (1844-1928) who served from the Civil War all the way
    through Philippine action.
    He also served
    briefly as Commander–in-Chief of the Asiatic Fleet and retired in 1905.
    The first piece consists of a pair of coatee links in 18k gold,
    weighing .31 ounce.
    The second piece is
    a nicely fashioned guillotine-style sterling cigar cutter.
    Again, both items have his initials engraved
    on them.
