Beautiful Lu-Ray mid century modern Gravy / Sauce-boat with attached under-tray! Amazing weighted vintage pottery is a lovely soft butter yellow in color known as “Persian Cream” inside and out. Double spout design is darling and helps serve your guests with ease! Lu-Ray Pastels was Taylor, Smith & Taylor’s most popular line of
dinnerware. It was first introduced in the summer of 1938 and was
discontinued in 1961.
The initial offering consisted of four colors: Persian Cream, Sharon
Pink, Windsor Blue, and Surf Green. The soft pastel colors were a
contrast to the more bold
glazes made popular at the time by Homer Laughlin’s Fiesta line.

Sauce-boat is in excellent condition! No chips, dings or pings! The usual light pre-loved light surface wear grazing here and there from years of helping Ethel display her famous Sunday suppers, but does not distract from this gem of retro history!
