    You know the drill… steamy defroster vents and the smell of antifreeze in the car. Worse yet, that puddle of coolant sitting in your front passenger carpet. Heater core repairs are very labor intensive, usually involving removal of the dash and hours upon hours of labor. If you don’t mind losing your heat function, then here is a solution that requires a few minutes.
    This bypass hose kit installs on the two heater hoses where they would normally pass thru the firewall to the heater core. Parts are made to last, with brass connectors (not plastic) and an OEM manufactured reinforced neoprene heater hose molded to prevent collapse.
    This hose kit is compact and designed to fit in tight spaces so it’s easy to fit on your car or truck. Simply disconnect the coolant hoses at the heater core nipples and re-connect them to this new part.
    No other parts are needed, the hoses will recirculate the coolant back to the engine and the heater core can no longer leak. The heater core does not need rubber caps since it no longer holds water. Add hose clamps and replace your coolant and you are done!
    Note, this is for cars that have double diameter heater hoses, 5/8″ and 3/4″ hose. If you need one for just 5/8″ only or just 3/4″ only, check my other auctions. Thank you!
