This is a real nice discharge paper signed by lieutenant colonel Frank Greene Adjutant. James Harvey Woodward served eight months. Supposed to serve two years ended up getting honored in less than a year. Signed has a private. I’ve seen replicas and likings of this certificate. But they are not the real thing . This is historical paper and signed by a lieutenant colonel from the Spanish-American war. Historical value . This would be nice for any collector or museum. The certificate can be found in reprints. So please look at all photos this is the real thing printed in 1889 and signed in 1899. This certificate was printed in Indiana, Terre Haute.By J.M.Vickroy&Co. Entered according to act of congress in the year 1889. History note this man served eight months and was granted this certificate. His unit was in infantry and was mustered gas it says that he was honorably discharged eight months. Enlisted July 12th 1898, honorably discharged Fab,28th 1899. All the men later on under Hobson’s command was honorably discharged period due to being mustard gassed.
